St. Joseph the Worker is very thankful to the District of Saanich for granting us a three-year permissive tax exemption (2024 - 2027). This exemption will allow us to fund many programs for our community and support outreach to those in need.

The Diocesan Health Care Committee is pleased to share a new “Care of the Dying” webpage: https://www.rcdvictoria.org/care-of-the-dying. The page includes a short video intro to CCCB’s “Horizons of Hope: A Toolkit for Catholic Parishes on Palliative Care” and a link to download the toolkit, as well as many other valuable resources and links.
Please note: Parishes and communities are encouraged to use the Horizons of Hope Toolkit to facilitate gatherings where people can explore palliative care in the context of a prayerful, caring community.
