St. Joseph the Worker is very thankful to the District of Saanich for granting us a  three-year permissive tax exemption (2024 - 2027). This exemption will allow us to fund many programs for our community and support outreach to those in need.

Diocesan Health Care Committee New “Care of the Dying” Webpage

The Diocesan Health Care Committee is pleased to share a new “Care of the Dying” webpage: The page includes a short video intro to CCCB’s “Horizons of Hope: A Toolkit for Catholic Parishes on Palliative Care” and a link to download the toolkit, as well as many other valuable resources and links.

Please note: Parishes and communities are encouraged to use the Horizons of Hope Toolkit to facilitate gatherings where people can explore palliative care in the context of a prayerful, caring community. 9-10 Club Serving Soup to Hungry Strategic Plan 2021 - 2023

The Soup Kitchen is a program of the 9-10 Club Serving Soup to the Hungry Society. The Society is a registered non-profit, non-denominational charity. Meal services started on Friday, November 12, 1982. It is the oldest, completely volunteer-run food resource for the hungry in Victoria.
